Those contestants who have not asked for an extension to October 1, 2008 need to make sure your optionals fees and T-shirt/banquet fees are in ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2008.

We   e-mailed everyone our updated handbook if you did not receive it email firstrowproductions@hotmail.com  make sure you read it!!!!!

We will begin accepting applicants to our 2009/2010 Pageant. Those titles that will not be at Nationals this year will be available on September 1, 2008.  Entry fee is $375.00 same entry fee as last year  app/reg fee is $35.00.  All  accepted  entrants receive our custom crown and your custom title sash, your handbooks, Press Release and information on how to make and book appearances. Get your 2009/2010 titles early this year and make the most of your Official Tourism title!!!!!!

New delegates pictures posted today. Girls if you have sent us an e-form and we have contacted you with your entry information or if you were accepted, please get back to us by e-mail or phone to let us know when your entry is being sent, or if you changed your mind.

If you have your crown and sash and have not sent your crown and sash photo please do so immediately. 

If you are a national winner from 2008 and will be available to attend Nationals this year to crown your successor please notify us before September 1, 2008.

Girls bring changes of clothes with you in case you win Nationals this year. Holiday outfits, formal outfits, Jeans and shorts.

Don't forget you are judged at nationals on your performance at Nationals. Be Kind and gracious at all times.

Let's start with take a look and actually read the information on all of the web pages.   Patriotic Wear is NOT a costume event. It is to show your fitness, style and glamour. Accessorize to show your personal style. The Slacks must be red white or blue (LONG), Shirt or blouse must be red white or blue.

Some of you were asking about who will walk you on stage. We have an awesome staff of great looking gentlemen to walk our girls on stage in their evening wear. This weekend will be fast paced so concentrating on this one aspect is not worth the stress.

Girls some of you have not finished paying your entry fees, and here it is coming up on our deadline of September 1, 2008. All of you need to get your $75.00 in for the banquets and T-shirts THIS IS MANDATORY FOR EACH DELEGATE, Which we will extend to October  1, 2008 but you must email and let us know you need the extension. Everyone will receive a new handbook, with a ton of information over the next three weeks. Read it fill in the forms needed and email us or mail everything back on time.  Get started on your national fundraiser, each girl should plan organize and hold a car wash or bake sale in her town to raise money for this years Scholarship. Everyone is expected to participate if you win nationals you will have wanted everyone to participate. Total cash raised goes to each Winner in the Miss Tourism main event category. This should be completed and funds Money ordered in by October 1, 2008. NO PAYPAL, NO CHECKS MONEY ORDER ONLY!

You are going to have so much fun at our Jingle Bells Christmas event!!! Don't miss out!!!

If you have friends that might want to enter they have til September 1, 2008. WE ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT EXCEPT ANYONE AFTER THAT DATE.

This is a reminder, if you do not have your crown and sash yet contact us so we know when you will be making your last payment so we have them on hand otherwise you will have to wait for yours. Also, do not forget everything is due in September 1, 2008 last payment on titles, T-shirt and banquet fee's ($75.00 total $25.00 each) Good Luck wishes, and any advertising.  If you filled in the T-shirt online form please request the hard copy form as we will need that when you mail your t-shirt fee and both the T-shirt form and Banquet forms will be on the sign up page next Monday. Girls this is no joke we will not extend anyone. If you wish to attend Nationals we need you to get busy on your paperwork forms and get your final fee's in. Then we can all concentrate on your wonderful National Finale'!!

Due to a wording issue on our rules page of our Rules and Regulations we will be allowing female parents and guardians to compete with their kids this year.

~*** America’s Ms. Tourism™©  - Marital status optional, Children Optional, Career  Women Optional,  must be age 18 & over on November 14, 2008.

~***If you have a daughter under the age of 14 competing in our Ms./Mrs category please do not apply to compete in the same pageant year as your daughters.

If you are a Tourism Girl trying to book an appearance as a Tourism Girl...... Do Not Reference any other titles you may hold. It is confusing to the general public and most people who would want you to represent their event.  Please read your hand books. We LOVE that some of you are involved in other pageants and want you to be. But, when it comes to representing a title choose one and just one for the event in question. Remember, people not involved in pageants don't understand how you can hold more than one title. So only represent one!~!! We prefer if you are a Tourism Delegate you represent your Tourism title as much as possible.

Hi, All you Tourism Girls and Fans,
Please take some time from your busy schedules to read our Blog title "Picture may disturb young ones"

  I would like for our Tourism Girls who have their crowns and sashes or are expecting in the next week and are interested in these topics to contact me by Monday so we can get started on promoting your topic. It will take some time and research involved in this project.

Three other things while I have your attention:
1) We were contacted by a T.V. show and if you are a mom of a 7 to 17 year old and would be interested in a fun adventure contact me. There are criterea you must meet to be selected.

2) Tourism Girls Project Kindness is a program we are putting together to promote kindness. We will publish a book about kindness and how you should treat other people. So I want your best head and shoulders photo in your crown and sash and I want you to right a story about what kindness means to you. Moms of our little ones you can write for your daughters but, I want their words. please send these to me by June 1, 2008.

3) Tourism girls get your recipes and photos to me for our cookbook asap.

Lets get started and truley make an impact this year!!!!!

If you are a current or past Tourism Girl get your recipes together and send them to us with your photo, crown and sash if you already have it.
We need Recipe, your title and your photo for the Tourism Girls Fave Foods Recipe book!!
And your fave make-up tips with a photo in your crown and sash if you have it already.
And your fave work-out regimen with your photo
We will put the books together and they will go on sale June 1, 2008 so you have until May, 2008 to get these things into us for inclusion in these booklets.
Deadline is May 1, 2008 to get these things in. We reserve the right to refuse any photo or submission at our discretion.  These booklets will be our national Fundraiser.

Please remember, if you are using a photographer who has copywrite  to the photos you send us we cannot use them.  Any photo you send us must be copywrite free and may be used for advertising and promotional purposes by us. And please no pictures with any printing on them.

Tip # one....Read your handbooks!!!!!
You are judged by the company you keep!!!! If you are making an appearance and the people around you are not cleaned and groomed this reflects on you and us. Your entourage should Support you by caring enough to bathe prior to your event and dress mostly business casual, hair done, teeth brushed etc. People at an appearance do not want to see queens who appear to not care, by showing up with a poor attitude and looking a mess. The same goes for the people who are around them. Get it together and look like the professional we expect you to be while wearing our title!!!! More tips to come.

To our current delegates Please help us in your state to fill all of the age categories for Nationals This year.
On the prizes page (link on the left) We have added your side awards. Under the photo in the middle of the Prize page.
We have added new delegates and deleted some. If you are not keeping up with your payments, or have not sent your needed paperwork or postal mailed your crown and sash photo, you very well may be removed. Once removed your title will be available to others. There are several of you, who need to get your crown and sash Photo postal mailed in. These may be emailed but, must also be postal mailed.

New Delegates added today. Our Texas girls are sure getting their appearance schedule full. If you do already have your crown and sash, we need you to mail us your photo  in it. Some of you are well past your 90 days.  Please get those photo's postal mailed asap. And Contact us to let us know when to expect it. If you are procrastinating on getting your entry, photo's,  fees, proof of age or anything else you need to start getting on it. We have less than 8 months till deadlines and only 10 months  to nationals. Get your stuff in!!!!

BIG NEWS
We will roll out our new Tourism Girls Sorority in the coming weeks. Only Girls who are in the Tourism Pageant will get to be officers, vote, etc. It will be open to others who wish to join and/or plan on becoming future Tourism Girls. This is very exciting and will forever bond each of you in the Tourism Sisterhood!!!

Girls somewhere in our rules papers it says you must pay your full entry prior to your crown and sash being ordered, that has been revised, your sash and crown will be ordered if you are making payments and your payments reach $250.00 plus your app/reg fee of $25.00. But, all of your paperwork and your proof of age must be in as well (birth certificate, drivers license or state issued ID). Lots of new girls added. If you are not complying with our policies and deadlines, you are now or will be soon, in the list of titles now available. Meaning, if you do not comply with deadlines, photo's needed or proof of age not to exclude rules and regs, your title may be open for another state delegate, as stated in your paperwork without refund. It is each delegates responsibility to follow deadlines!!!!

International Miss Tourism Pageant
So, many girls have requested information about our International Miss Tourism Pageant. Here is how it will work. If you wish to represent your country or heritage, you will need to go to the Sign-up page and fill in the online form. We will then send you our initial letter of how to get started. The International Pageant will be held with the America's Miss Tourism Pageant , like two pageants in one. The International girls will compete on stage with the America's Miss Tourism Girls. We will then crown an America's Miss Tourism 2009 and an International Miss Tourism 2009.  There will be an International Delegates web page coming soon. So if you plan to represent your home Country or Heritage get your online form filled in and get your photo's to us asap!!!

If you printed an application from our newest website (posted November 5, 2007), you will need to go back to our sign up page and print, just the application and re-submit it. The application that was there was incorrect. You will need to re-print the application and mail it in asap. Everyone should read the forms they are signing.  We have only received 2 birth certificates. Each set of paperwork must be sent with a copy of a Birth Certificate and/or drivers license. If you did not enclose this with your entry forms, please copy and mail them ASAP!!
