Below all of the competition information. Your entry fee and app/reg fee pays for the Interview, evening wear, state costume, photogenic and congeniality. The optionals are just that optional you do not have to and are not required to compete in those. The optionals offer the Global Miss Tourism title, crown and sash for four lucky young women who compete for this Grand Supreme over-all title.

INTERVIEW:

All age groups will compete in Interview. Girls prepare yourselves for  this sometimes outcome-changing event.

Be ready to answer general questions about you. What have you done with your state titles, future plans.  If you entered late tell what you have done in the short time you have had your crown. It could be impressive if you have made an impact with your title in a short time.

This competition is to learn about you, how well you interview, your poise, your graciousness, diction, eye contact and confidence. Should you win a title you will be our spokesperson, our pageant cheerleader, and our diplomat. So, come prepared. It will be helpful for you to be prepared to talk about how you with your title made a difference.

There could be general questions about current events.  Come dressed in an outfit you would wear to an interview for a job or Sunday school. Usually a business suit. May be embellished. You still want to look G L A M O R O U S.

Titleholders must be able to articulate or speak well and have excellent social skills. You should be able to express yourself clearly, diplomatically all the while projecting a pleasant personality.  Wear your state sashes for the Interview.  Must wear business attire with some glam, this is for all groups competing in interview.

STATE COSTUME:

All delegates will WOW us with a Glittery rendition of what they are excited to let the world know about their state that we may not already know. This will require research. Do your homework.

This Drama like, competition, is meant to be a STUNNER. Get creative, tell us something about your state we may not already know. This will be done in 30 seconds or less and make sure you tie your costume into your speech.

This competition helps teach creativity, public speaking and research.

Some examples of state costumes. Please get creative and glitz and glam it up!!!! This is not a portion of the competition you want to take for granite!!! The more creative and glam the better your score will be.  If you come as an Indian be fore warned every state has Indian Heritage and it is very well known... dig deeper.
