Below all of the competition information. Your entry
fee and app/reg fee pays for the Interview, evening wear, state costume,
photogenic and congeniality.
The optionals are just that optional you do not have to and are not
required to compete in those. The optionals offer the Global Miss Tourism
title, crown and sash for four lucky young women who compete for this
Grand Supreme over-all title.
INTERVIEW:
All age
groups will compete in Interview. Girls prepare yourselves for this
sometimes outcome-changing event.
Be ready to answer general questions
about you. What have you done with your state titles, future plans. If
you entered late tell what you have done in the short time you have had
your crown. It could be impressive if you have made an impact with your
title in a short time.
This competition is to learn about you,
how well you interview, your poise, your graciousness, diction, eye
contact and confidence. Should you win a title you will be our
spokesperson, our pageant cheerleader, and our diplomat. So, come
prepared. It will be helpful for you to be prepared to talk about how you
with your title made a difference.
There could be general questions about
current events. Come dressed in an outfit you would wear to an interview
for a job or Sunday school. Usually a business suit. May be embellished.
You still want to look G L A M O R O U S.
Titleholders must be able to articulate
or speak well and have excellent social skills. You should be able to
express yourself clearly, diplomatically all the while projecting a
pleasant personality. Wear your state sashes for the Interview. Must
wear business attire with some glam, this is for all groups competing in
interview.

PHOTOGENIC:
All age groups will bring to
International Finals with them, A Photograph of themselves in their state
crown and sash. This photo should be formal in a gown and/or pageant
dress and must be an 8x10 or 8x11. These photos will NOT be returned make
sure you have a copy. You will hand these in after the Saturday banquet.
The state word on your sash must be
visible, crown may be on your head or held. Photos should be clear.
Remember this is an International Pageant. A quality photo for you is
best!!

EVENING WEAR:
Tiny Miss and Little Miss short dress. Pre-Teen Miss and up Long Formal
Wear Gown.
Your Choice, may have embellishments, trains etc., Teens may wear
Sophisticated Gowns.
No flippers, falls, false anything on our 10 and under group light
lip gloss, a little mascara and blush that is it. Points will be
deducted at your expense. There will be NO REFUND should you not win your
age category because you could not follow our rules.
Every Delegate will be brought on Stage and she will walk to her place
center stage. Tiny Miss only may have a parent or guardian walk them.
There is no helping any child or age division from the audience, no
charades on smiling or turning etc., no yelling out etc. This behavior
will result in loss of points.
Girls will be lit up and all aglow by our on stage lighting, and will have
their special moment glamorized by our professional Sound Engineers, and
immortalized by our exclusive Photographer.
This is a
glamorous event, your choice of dress or gown should reflect the elegance
of the event and your own personal style.

STATE COSTUME:
All delegates will WOW us with a
Glittery rendition of what they are excited to let the world know about
their state that we may not
already know. This will require research. Do your homework.
This Drama like, competition, is meant
to be a
STUNNER. Get creative, tell
us something about your state we may not already know. This will be
done in 30 seconds or less and make sure you tie your costume into your
speech.
This competition helps teach
creativity, public speaking and research.
Some examples of state costumes. Please
get creative and glitz and glam it up!!!! This is not a portion of the
competition you want to take for granite!!! The more creative and glam the
better your score will be. If you come as an Indian be fore warned
every state has Indian Heritage and it is very well known... dig deeper.
