Special Side awards:
The awards listed below are for those who capture the
spirit of pageantry and are dedicated to the Miss Tourism Pageants System.
These side awards do not have any baring on the judging of the actual Main
Event. Side awards require some time and effort on your part. You must let
us know
which of the side awards you are working towards.
Miss Photogenic:
One winner per age group
highest over-all total photogenic score photo is in
your crown and sash. This year you will postal mail your
photogenic photo it must be clearly
marked and sent separate of anything else. YOU MUST
BRING A BACK-UP COPY OF YOUR
PHOTOGENIC PHOTO TO NATIONALS WITH YOU. YOU MUST BE IN
YOUR CROWN
AND SASH IN THE PHOTO!!.
Miss Congeniality:
One winner per age group voted
by the delegates.
Miss Tourism Humanitarian:
$25.00 ENTRY FEE The
ONE
delegate who has the most
appearances throughout her reign will win the
Humanitarian award. Appearances may be sent to
the national office directly following your appearances
to be posted on our website. 600kb and
clear. Or postal mail. Please keep a detailed
"scrapbook" of your appearances ONE photo per
appearance. Event Name, Event Contact person, event
address, event phone number and/or email,
date you made the appearance and one photo (the best
photo) of you at the appearance. ANY
EVENT MISSING THE ABOVE INFORMATION... THAT EVENT (S)
WILL BE DISCLUDED
FROM THE JUDGING!! Each event should be one page. These
scrapbooks will not
be returned PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COPY FOR
YOURSELF!!!
Miss Tourism Internet:
$25.00 FEE This is the one
delegate with the best personal website
promoting not only herself but, helping others to enter
and promoting the pageant as well. You
must email us your personal website address you would
like judged As soon as completed but, no
later than AUGUST 1, 2010.
Miss Tourism Newsgirl:
$25.00 FEE This is the one
delegate who had the most media
coverage. All news clips and video or audio should be
compiled by you and brought to the
FINAL PAGEANT IN NOVEMBER in an organized fashion. THESE
WILL NOT BE
RETURNED PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COPY FOR YOURSELF .
Must arrive to
us by AUGUST 1, 2010.
Miss Tourism Collegiate: NO
FEE This award goes to the
one delegate who raised the most in
fundraising for the Miss Tourism Scholarships.
Miss Tourism Golden Globe:
$25.00 FEE This award goes
to the one delegate who sells the
most Good Luck wishes. (200 to qualify 500 to win a faux
fur) The delegate selling the
most Good
Luck wishes 200 wishes to qualify, 500 wishes and get a
Faux Fur Stole.
Miss Tourism Queen of Queens:
NO FEE This award goes to
the delegate who referred the
most new delegates who attend nationals. Your referral
must attend Nationals for you to
qualify!!!
Miss Tourism Advertiser of the
year
:
NO FEE
The delegate selling the most ad space
will
win this prestigious award. ANY AD SPACE NOT RECEIVED BY
AUGUST 1, 2010 WILL
NOT BE INCLUDED IN JUDGING AND COULD POSSIBLY MISS THE
PROGRAM BOOK
And The Delegate who sells the most ad space will also
receive a Faux Fur, Trophy, plaque or certificate
and $200.00 Savings Bond (Must sell equivalent of 6 full
page ads to qualify)
